Travelcircus – Discovery

During my time working with the Travelcircus client, I had the pleasure of conducting numerous qualitative usability tests to understand user behavior, pain points, and needs.

One of the projects I initiated aimed to understand how users search for travel deals, including their preferred search methods. I conducted a usability test on Usertesting.com, which subsequently guided us in moving forward with the redesign of our website's discovery features.

Way of discovery

How easy is to find products?

Would you ever return?

The results have led us to a preliminary front page design concept that provides three methods for discovering products on the site: searching for a specific destination, product, or date; finding deals near your location; and exploring inspiration curated by our content team based on user’s previous searches. The concept was implemented gradually, with testing conducted on every aspect of the idea to compare it against the current variant.
